Common and uncommon Phobia brought by alcohol addiction
I recently asked a friend if he has any kind of phobia and his response was negative, one day we went to see a friend who lived on the forth flow of one of the apartments in town so we had to take an elevator, at first he opted for the stares but since I insisted he had no option. Later I learnt that he was afraid of elevatorsthis phobia known as claustrophobia, nature causes this people to have fear when in closed places or small room such as cabinets. Most of these phobias come due to drug addiction and its worth visiting a alcohol rehab if you have such conditions.
What is alcohol phobia?
Alcohol Phobia is a behavioral response or emotional response to fear, Phobia is not a mental disease but an irrational fear. This phobia can be due to excess alcohol. There are two types of Phobia, common Phobia and uncommon Phobia. Some of the common alcohol phobias include;
• Xenophobia- This is the fear of unknown, this entails fear of unfamiliar events, strangers and strange places.
• Acrophobia- This is the fear of heights, acrophobia is the fear of all heights since nature selects us to fear heights as a survival technique.
• Agoraphobia- Is the fear of large open spaces it also involves fear of crowded places. People with such phobia rarely visit crowded places like shopping malls.
• Hydrophobia- This is the fear of water be it tap water or large volumes of water like oceans and lakes.
• Homophobia- is the fear of blood; this involves fear of bleeding or sight of blood.
There are many other common Phobias some of which are wide spread to almost everyone, like the fear to speak in public places e.g. public speaking or making a speech, this kind of Phobia is known as Glossophobia.
There are also uncommon Phobias like:

This are just but the few I could sample there are many other types of Phobia some are so weird that you may wonder if it is a Phobia. If you are a victim of alcohol phobia visiting an alcohol rehab is the way to go.
It is not clear as to the source of common and uncommon Phobias since some speculation says that we inherited them from our ancestors, other speculations say that social culture in our life style have conditioned us to react to things in different ways.
