Australian Visa and Its Types

There are various ways, following which you can be eligible for Australian Visa. Few of those are described below:

1. Skilled Independent Visa

This visa is based on point- system. Skilled independent visas for Australian migration are granted for a period of 5 years. In those 5 years, the applicant can live and work in Australia or even study in Australia. In order to apply for this Australian Visa, the applicant must be below 50 years of age at the time of applying for the visa. The applicant must pass a skill assessment and must be competent in English.

The skilled migration point test is necessary to pass if you want an Australian migration through skilled independent visa process. The test is designed to test your proficiency in English, your qualification and skills in few other categories. Various Visa which fall under skilled independent are:

2. Business Visas
If you want to start your own venture in Australia or buy an existing business there, than business Visa will suit your requirement. The business visa allows you to establish a business in Australia, to grant multiple entries into Australia, and thus provides a pathway for an Australian migration.

While applying the business visa to Australia, you must be below 45 years of age and you must fulfil the conditions of minimum assets possession. Command in Vocational English is also a requirement that you must fulfil.

3. Visit Visas
For a short stay in Australia, you can apply for a visit visa. The short stays include:
Business Short Stay
Tourist Visa
Family Visitor Visa
Electronic Travel Authority Visa

4. Study Visa
Temporary Australian visas are also provided to the students who wish to attend the Australian schools and colleges for vocational education and training. You can apply for 572- Temporary visa for vocational education and training in:
VET Diploma
VET Advanced Diploma
Vocational Graduate Certificate

While applying for the short visa, you must have a genuine intent to stay in the country temporarily and you must have funds to support your study and stay there. You must apply for a health insurance as well while you are on short stay in Australia.
