Generators do cause noise & air pollution
There is certainly no home or business establishments which don’t require diesel powered back-up systems. No one wants to take the risk of getting power crisis for his place no matter how much it would cost. For those who are financially tight in their expenses, it is yet another blot of serious consideration. First of all, diesel generators are expensive & are thus likely to burn a hole in their pockets. And secondly, because it results in massive air & noise pollution, they need something else to control that aspect as well. That means something to hit their pocket once again. And it’s nothing else than acoustic containers which can help them in this regard.
It is no doubt that heavy duty generator sets are seriously imposing health crisis in every region of this world. There is not the risk of air pollution, there is actually air pollution caused by those generator sets which have low heighted chimneys for the toxic fumes they emit. And there is also the noise pollution with those sets which are in use without the use of acoustic enclosures for prevention against this environmental problem.
There are surveys & statistical reports showing that diesel generators are one of the main causes of pollution. Yet any government can’t help but notice the drastic changes occurring. They are certainly not in a position to order the firms & high end business establishments that they should avoid using diesel power backups. They certainly can’t! but they can prevent the health issues arising from pollution caused by strictly making laws of using acoustic containers along with their generator sets.
And it is not a problem associated to the business establishments only. Residential complexes are equally involved in this aspect. People are using old generators which are not environmental friendly at all & that too without the use of \ in place. So, any law can’t help these serious effects on human health unless the humans are themselves made to involve in this issue to think for themselves. One should not say that one is clearing one’s areas for pollution because in that sense, he’s creating worse situations for other areas.
